Addressing social determinants of mental health in therapy: A thematic synthesis

Background The importance of addressing social determinants mental health in therapy is well-documented. However, there appears to be limited research on what this actually involves practice and how best prepare therapists work with individuals experiencing adverse determinants. Aims aim review was draw implications for training from reviewing therapy. Methodology A qualitative systematic the conducted, extracting papers eight databases: Cochrane Library, ASSIA, CINAHL Plus, PsycInfo, Psychoanalytic Electronic Publishing, Science Direct, Scopus Web Science.
